Just seven years into my nursing career, I found myself burnt out, overworked, and underappreciated. After almost ten years and over $130,000 of student loans invested in my education, I didn't think I would ever be able to stop practicing anesthesia. But I knew I couldn't keep working 60 plus hours a week. So I decided to make a change. I was determined to learn what it took to be a successful healthcare entrepreneur.

What I discovered was taking care of a business is a lot like taking care of a patient, and many of the skills I'd learned in the hospital made me a natural business owner. It wasn't easy, but it was absolutely worth it. Now I'm in total control of my time and have the freedom I never thought possible. It has been a real blessing to have completely replaced my CRNA income through business ownership.
